A Las Vegas vacation brings many different images to mind, from the hard-partying city of gamblers and cheap drinks to the place for a wholesome family getaway with the kids. These days, Las Vegas vacations can be anything from a kid’s fantasy-land to the adult playground of yore. Gamblers need only look up from their slot machines or roulette wheels to see a roller coaster whiz over their heads. The sense of being a playground for adults is still there, even if the strip has a new persona of being a place for families. It remains home to more elite restaurants and nightclubs than virtually any other location in the country. Money and champagne continue to run through the streets of this city.
