I meet with a group once a month and last month met at Maggianos (sp?) and it was great, but far. This month is my month to pick and it seems like all the great places to eat are up north. I don’t want to have to drive 45 minutes for dinner. Any suggestions? I am relativley new to the area and all the places I normally go are to please the kids. This would be an adult only night out. Thanks!!!

Hey there! Im not from texas but saw this question.
Go here and type in your zip code and it will help you alot! I’ve used it so much here in columbus ohio and i’ve been here for 4 years!
I live in the metroplex, so I know a lot of pretty good restaurants around that area.
About 15-20 minutes away from Mansfield is Cedar Hill and they have a few good ones, such as:
Campuzano’s (Mexican food, best Tortilla Soup I’ve had)
Red Robin (burgers)
They also have Joe’s Crab Shack and Saltgrass Steakhouse.
Just down the road (probably like 10 minutes) from Mansfield is Arlington. They have tons of different places. El Fenix is a good Mexican restaurant there, as is Pei Wei (Chinese) and La Madeline (Italian). Hope that helps.
Try Outlaws BBQ
Someone already suggested Red Robin…if you haven’t been there it is amazing, however you may want to suggest this for a night when the kids will be there.
Isn’t Mansfield just a little west of Arlington? There is a place on 20 called Rio Mambo- it is Mexican food and they have an awesome atmosphere.
